Abstract:
With the study of the professional modules, students must develop the ability to acquire the knowledge they need for their future professional development. This knowledge should be adequate to the objectives specified for that module, from the ones described in the training cycle, and should have reached at the end of the training. It also should be taken into account to develop appropriate teaching units, the professional achievements and learning outcomes that students are going to work and the material needed for the various teaching units which is subdivided the training module.
In the case of Pharmaceutical Compounding professional module, is part of the Pharmacy Technician training cycle . Professional achievements and learning outcomes are incomplete and do not include all sections described in the statement of the professional module, cosmetic formulation and artificial nutrition preparations are not taken into account. That is why we set the goal of the study of professional achievement and learning outcomes described for the module and the development of two teaching units to complete the definition of the statement: "preparation of formulations, prepared officinal diet and cosmetics. "
We have used INCUAL documentation on professional qualifications, competence unit UC0366_2. R.D. 1689/2007 of December 14, 2007 (BOE n º 15, 2008), which publishes the results of the professional learning (code 0104) and Order of July 29, 2009 of Consellería of Education of the G. V. (DOGV n º 6093). We proceed to develop a table linking professional achievements of learning outcomes and contents needed to develop further teaching schedule for the module, realizing that all the sections discussed are related to pharmaceutical compounding without finding any comments on the development of cosmetic formulations that are prepared in a similar way with similar methods but have different characteristics that should be taken into account when we are making the schedule. In the case of artificial nutrition formulation, although it is restricted to the area of the hospital pharmacy, we believe that students must know about it to perform their professional activities in those areas.
