Abstract:
In this article we present the main features of the current Romanian education system, identified from analyzes conducted by research projects and through reports made by educational institutions in the country and abroad. Also present some proposals on some intervention strategies that we consider necessary for improvement, improving the education system. The main intervention strategies aimed at three categories of actions: a direct impact on facilitating access to education and preventing / reducing early school leaving, aimed at increasing the quality of education and ensuring qualified human resources. By implementing these pedagogical interventions we hope to achieve a balance between disjointed elements that exist today in the Romanian education.Romania's education system reform was not coherent, management is poor, there is no investment and no money to motivate staff. The current education system lacks both the money and the long-term strategy, so it is very difficult to compete with European countries in the education system. Teachers agree that lack of money is a motivating minus both their professional development and quality education, but the main problem of the system is the lack of long-term STRATEGIES. It recommended the introduction of entrance examinations (high school and college) as a more secure form of student assessment after the end of a cycle of education. For students, the biggest problem of the system is the frequent changes of methodology and lack of a coherent education reform. Lack of long-term strategies and unnecessary clutter matter them on most of the students.
