Abstract:
The literary studies have been traditionally interested for the dramaturgy of the written text as object of study preferred for the theoretical construction and development of methodologies for the analysis and pedagogy of the dramatic project. Nevertheless, the consideration of the staging like a fundamental factor in the creative process in order to the accomplishment of the dramatic work and its access on the part of the public, has taken progressively major relevancy in the field of the semiotic analyses, specially since the textual draft put the emphasis in the study of the procedures of construction and orientation of the meaning in the process of translation and adaptation of the written text to the scene.

This revitalization of the interest in the staging has special relevancy in the processes of adaptation between different ways of expression and communication - theatre, cinema, television and new medias - due to the technical determinations imposed by the own media, as much as the expressive forms, languages and different strategies of interpellation and implication of the spectator.

From an educational perspective, the comprehension and analysis of the procedures and technologies of adaptation demand the development of capacity and aptitudes that enable the student to interpret critically the dramatic work in its different levels of the process of generation of the meaning, from the semio-narrative structures, up to its discursive and pragmatic manifestation. The aim consists of analyzing the dramatic work in its logical and narrative dimension to observe, in a systematic way, the displacements, translations and discursive strategies implied in the adaptation of the scenic adaptation.

The adaptation of the dramatic text to the different scenic constructions like a theatrical scene, audiovisual or multimedia involves specific practices and compromises, in turn, the way in which the scenic work appeals to the spectator and ask for a spectatorial work that implies competences and decisive skills for the attribution of meaning to the dramatic experience.

The education in the field of the scenic and performing arts in the logic of the pedagogic and methodological directives of the new European Space for Higher Education requires a teaching – learning approach to the training of competences and aptitudes in the students related to the dramatic adjustment to the different medias and expressive forms derived from the intense technical innovation in the field of the arts and communication. And it also requires a deep comprehension of the languages and semiotic procedures that are placed in the basis of the processes of construction and attribution of the meaning related to the staging and involving the dramatic experience on behalf of the spectator.
