Abstract:
In today's information society, the only effective solution is the competitiveness of economically advanced states, innovation and quality. A condition for the security of permanent innovation is quality education. The educational institutions have duty provide students with quality education that they can successfully apply to the labor market. For this reason, a great deal of attention should be paid to quality preparation in schools. The aim of the education is to develop the personality of the student and his or her competencies to become a flexible work force able to successfully handle the assigned tasks in connection with the ongoing changes and rapid development of science and technology. In order for schools to provide quality education, they should have up-to-date teaching resources. The teachers should implement innovative methods and elements in the education process that would contribute to the effectiveness of the learning process, to raise students' interest in learning, and encourage motivation, which is a prerequisite of satisfaction and contributes to the achievement to quality achievements and the fulfillment of educational goals.
The contribution is devoted to modern teaching methods and the concept of teaching for support the development of entrepreneurial competences, from the point of view of students. The data acquisition tool was chosen as a method of questionnaire survey. Respondents were students at the University of Dabrowa Gornica in Poland, the international students from Faculty of Management. The survey was conducted from March – to April 2018 at the Dabrowa Gornicza University in Poland. The questionnaire was anonymous, the questionnaire contained closed questions on teaching methods and teaching concepts The teachers circled their opinions only one of the choice on a scale of 1 – 5 (1 – very often, 2 – often, 3 – sometimes, 4 – rather not, 5 – not at all). The questionnaire was distributed electronically,as an electronic version of the on-line questionnaire was created. This questionnaire was evaluated by statistic methods. Respondents were the students of Faculty of Managements. The aim was to find out the views of students on teaching methods and techniques.
