Abstract:
In response to the globalization and rapid economic, technological and social changes, becoming learning societies is on the agenda of many developed countries. Given the rapid growth of private educational institutions, technology development and the need for an easier way of communication and learning, many educational institutions have to incorporate information and communication technologies into the classical system of education in order to survive and to maintain market competitiveness.

This paper, offers a systematic and detailed review of the basic concepts and definitions related to online education.

The primary aim of this study is to evaluate student’s perception toward e-learning program and identify the factors underlying the perception
Our assessment of student attitudes toward e-learning education is based on original sample evidence of 182 students engaged in distance learning program at School of Economics and Business Sarajevo.

A statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 20.0 and STATA version 12.0 was used to analyze the data. Exploratory factor analysis was employed to purify the multi-item scale.

In order to determine if there is any relationship between students' attitudes toward e-learning program and their propensity to engage in such programs, a multiple regression is carried out, utilizing the results of factor analysis executed earlier on.

A result revealed that student’s attitude towards e-learning programs is most significantly affected by the following constructs: Technology and support, technology experience, and instructor. However, it is visible that all three factors have positive influence on student opinion towards e-learning program.
