Abstract:
Creativity and innovation are key elements in the process of helping teachers transform education and address different learning styles. However, many instructors seem somewhat reluctant to identify effective uses for technology to energize their classrooms. This presentation focuses on the benefits of electronic resources in order to: provide students with meaningful learning experiences, foster enthusiasm for learning, and promote a collaborative atmosphere in the foreign language classroom. It also discusses the potential and pedagogical advantages of different online materials available. Participants will learn strategies to plan and organize Web-based activities and class projects using electronic resources and multimedia technologies for foreign language intermediate, culture, and literature courses.
