Abstract:
Bilingual degrees on Business and Economics will be offered next academic course at the University of Granada, Spain. In this framework, new curriculum materials in English are needed to make the learning process as effective, efficient and motivating as possible.
The main objective of this project is to introduce the use of avatars in the area of Quantitative Methods for Economics and Enterprise, as a tool to provide educational materials in English.
The use of new multimedia technologies related to virtual representation of reality turns out to be an excellent resource to have a positive and dynamic impulse in the teaching – learning process.
The goal is to give the pupils didactic resources using virtual educational environments. Specifically, an interactive CD-ROM containing the avatar, will display in English the basic information of the subjects involved and links to notes of the topics, list of exercises and questionnaires.
