Abstract:
At the University Jaume I, engineering studies have been adapted to the new European Higher Education Area system, including the use of European Credits Transfer System (ECTS). A new matter has been added, the Chemistry, which is common for agricultural, industrial, electrical, mechanical and chemistry engineering curricula. The matter is divided in three subdivision: theory (5 groups), practice (10 groups) and laboratory (20 groups). The work here described details the coordination between the professors to organize and perform the content, material, themes, theory, practice, problems, laboratory, tutorials and seminar. The matter treated were: atomic structure, chemical bonds, acid/base, complex and solubility equilibria, redox and organic chemistry. In this coordination step, we includes also the stimation of the number of hours used for the students in Chemistry, in order to transform them in the number of ECTS.
