Abstract:
We contemplate the use of digital video in the teaching of pediatric Dentistry in two spheres. On the one hand as a teaching tool that allows a more autonomous student learning during the clinical/preclinical activities and the control of the child's behavior. Activities in which, the observation of the motion image, facilitates the acquisition of skills by the student.

On the other hand as an instrument used to assess the student’s performance during their work in the clinical/ preclinical’s practice and their communication skills. It enables a formative evaluation based on the objectives achieved and, in collaboration with the student, its improvement in the tasks performed.

We present our experience in teaching, and the improvements perceived by students and teachers.
