Abstract:
This study presents an innovative educational method, which main purpose is to assess and co-assess master’s thesis through the design of a rubric. The use of this rubric implies a reassessment of this subject’s teaching methodology as well as a change in training activities.
The main objective of the rubric is to evaluate in a transparent and objective way the quality of a task that may be complex in a wide range of activities.
One of the objectives is to help the student to achieve a better comprehension of his own work and the results he obtains by means of contrasting them with the rest of the group’s assessment, to finally create a table of evaluation criteria that allows to validate the rubric as well as to include it in the master thesis regulation without involving excessive complications.

The problem of this type of assessment lies in the fact that the presentation and the design of the MASTER’S THESIS at each university is usually regulated by a series of presentation and evaluation rules that include strict presentation criteria since the master’s thesis project is generally approved for each faculty’s degree.
