Abstract:
Culture is the way of life of every society. It comprehends an interesting set of manifestations as knowledge, beliefs, art, moral, laws, customs, traditions, folklore; at the end, all the creations of a human, singular characterized group or of a particular town, a particular kind, peculiar in its way of life. The concept of identity is very tied to the concept of culture. Sharing identity among the members of a cultural group constitutes the core of it. Every culture has particular elements that normally are turned into symbols of the identity of their folks, like prominent figures, language, colors, music, dances, among others.
The present study is oriented to the task of analyzing if the culture of the minority ethnics groups where taking into account in the designs of web pages interfaces, and likewise, the form in which culture was represented. For such an objective, several and diverse international as natives web pages were analyzed, both of the educational sector and of the governmental sector, addressing the conclusion that the majority of the designers of web pages interfaces, do not consider to be the culture as a strategic media of interaction between the information systems and the final user.
