Abstract:
As part of an innovation project interuniversity, tested during the first quarter of 2010-2011, has made the design, development and implementation of selected educational content for teaching and learning music. Two groups of students from two universities and different programs (Teaching Music Education University Castilla-La Mancha and Communication Studies at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos) have worked cooperatively and collaboratively to address an actual plan eLearning design, developed and published in fourteen minisites with educational content on the History of Music whose target audience is students in their final years of Education Primary.
Objective: establish a simulated learning environment for students, through online collaboration platform, for developed a set of general skills such as communication skills, teamwork, ICT and educational use, autonomy and personal development.
To do this, we have followed a methodology based on situated learning and the collaborative and cooperative learning. Learning activities are defined according to current project. Students have organized teams with defined responsibilities and distinctive roles: company (URJC) and client (UCLM). This has enabled the evaluation process was more effective than the use of other evaluative strategies and instruments.
Student engagement has increased, not only had to meet the requirements of the teacher or fellow group-class, but has also fulfilled a responsibility to work trying to give an appropriate response to requests of the client group and vice-versa.
The result, published under an open license educational Web portal, has successfully test a model of cooperative work in Red, interuniversity and interdisciplinary, emulating, through situated learning, professional production process and competence.
