Abstract:
This paper was developed under the Research & Development project "The academic cyberplagiarism among students of ESO", funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain (EDU2009-14 019-C02-01 and EDU2009-14 019-C02-02) and involving two teams of researchers from the Universities of the Balearic Islands and Cadiz.

The study of plagiarism is situated by the existing literature under the conceptual umbrella of academic integrity, and is defined as those practices and behaviors, by act or omission, that are against the adoption and adaptation of the fundamental values ​​that should guide all academic activity: the honesty, trust, responsibility, respect and fairness or equity (University of San Diego, 1997).
The work presented here aims to extend knowledge about the international literature on academic plagiarism in high school environments and is based on the following objectives:
• Collect and systematize the scientific-based on content analysis of academic journals, about plagiarism among high school students.
• Analyze and systematize the content of articles located.
• Describe the main thematic lines, methodological procedures and conclusions concerning the study of plagiarism among high school students.
The work is based on locating and analyzing of academic articles incorporated into the main scientific databases, specifically the following databases have been traced:

Sample: It consists of a total of 53 articles.
Data Processing: This was the emptying of all information collected following the content analysis of items using SPSS version 19, described the variable labels and values ​​were obtained and organized statistical data were made graphs and tables from the data, the information was updated (frequency and graphics) deciding the type of graph most appropriate tool for each dimension.
Most of the documentation analyzed was a valorative-opinion nature rather than empirical analysis.The main dimensions focused by the literature reviewed were relate to: the Prevalence of plagiarism and causes and strategies to combat it. The available literature highlights the high prevalence of the phenomenon and the rise of this type of behavior related to the use of ICT.
